Otoboke Beaver doesn’t know what the hell you’re talking about
Everybody’s always going on about how polite the Japanese are and they are, but that doesn’t mean they can’t be blunt. Like, for instance, at the end of the video above one of the members of Otoboke Beaver puts on a certain face and say’s “Hoh?!” and it’s typically Japanese. It comes from halfway their windpipe and with that face and it usually means you used a very wrong Japanese word when you just meant to ask for directions or if you can have chopsticks with that bento.
Anyway, May 6 sees the release of Otoboke Beaver’s new album, Super Champion, and no it’s not “champion” spelled wrong, it’s a Nagasaki dish. They’re coming to Europe and I got tickets and this their new single. (PB)
