Soothing, loungy rap by Izumi Makura
I like Japanese rap. A lot. There’s something about Japanese that makes it very suitable for rap and their are many very original, innovative rappers in Japan.
The woman you hear in the video above, Izumi Makura (a pseudonym, I assume) raps slices of women’s lives, carried by discrete beats and discrete, jazzy notes. I find this very soothing.
