Gezien alle blote lichamen als afbeeldingen vroeg ik me af of je site gehackt is.

Hypocriet

Telegraaf rechts is inderdaad uiterst hypocriet

Ze hebben het altijd over recht en orde, het gehoorzamen van het gezag

Ze maken zich druk over extinction rebellion weg bezettingen

Maar blokkeer friezen is prima. Mensen die belaagd worden in Katwijk? Prima. Geweld tegen vreedzame linkse demonstranten? Prima

Nederland is nu wel een puinhoop. Ik denk niet dat het beter gaat worden

Deze puinhopen komen voornamelijk door het falen van links, in mijn optiek

Hoi Peter,

Bedankt voor je zorgvuldige en prettige reactie. En ja, ik ben al wat ouder, ik had idd Vuijsje senior ook nog in gedachten… Ik lees je berichten graag omdat ze scherp, analytisch , relevant en oprecht zijn (vind ik).

Ik kan, in deze, je redenatie helemaal volgen en er ook wel mee eens zijn, maar ik ben niet zo’n gelover in “nooit weer”. En ik ben na meer dan 50 jaar ook nog steeds niet bekomen van een bezoek aan Auschwitz: dus wat mij betreft -> laat hen rusten.

Ook al omdat Nederlanders met wortels van elders (en hun voorouders) er part noch deel aan hebben (gehad), zou ik me, als autochtone witte landgenoot, in hun richting vooral nederig en schuldbewust willen opstellen. Hoe hebben we het als beschaafde en ontwikkelde mensen (lees: witte Europeanen) het voor elkaar gekregen om een groep medemensen te stigmatiseren, te criminaliseren en uit te roeien en dat te laten gebeuren.

Ik wil me iedere dag tegen discriminatie, onvrijheid, genocidaal geweld en etnische zuivering keren en solidair met mijn medemensen zijn. Daarom ook lees ik Frontaal Naakt.

Rode Lijn

Hallo Peter,

Yesterday I was at the Rode Lijn March. So many people. The message was clear. I am writing a post now for my Substack. I just want to publish the photos of the boards, the messages from the people, because it feels like we are being silenced, ignored. Like, who can believe that Israel won the popular vote in the Eurovision song festival? I don’t. I think 100.000 marching against the government’s stance towards Israel, demanding a stop of the genocide, says something else.

But, can they ignore us, can they ignore 100.000 people? They could, probably, since they have been ignoring the will of the people for ever. They are our representatives only in name.

Yes, but Israel represents the White West in the brown Middle East. I think the narrative is failing. The West failed to be the savior of humanity with its human rights and all that. So now, it’s trying to maintain its supremacy at all costs, keep its imperialist practices at all costs, and its rights at all costs.

And, as an Argentinean, as a “third-worlder”, I am afraid of the erasure of the limits, of the consequences if Israel wins, if they manage to eradicate the Palestinian population, either by death or displacement.

The message that that will bring is: we are above the law, human rights and all that bullshit, it’s only the law of the strongest now, you cannot oppose us. And they will come for us. Argentina has a huge debt. Who will stop the World Bank and the USA from saying, well, you cannot pay? Give us Patagonia, give us your riches, or else…

That is what I fear.
