Native American rapper Drezus is on the Warpath

We continue our journey of discovery through Native American hip-hop with rapper Drezus. And while Supaman is mainly about spreading love and staying positive, Drezus is as anti-authority as they come, with dark, threatening beats and bass-line and biting, belligerent lyrics. He seems to have chosen a collision course and he is not joking either:

We about to go to war right now, no petty ass beef, and when it all go down, who’s gonna ride with me?

Drezus, who had a tough childhood, seems to be criticizing the Native American leadershop as much as the national government, rapping:

‘There’s not enough leaders out there, we should be ridin’, they left our people broken, but homey, don’t play the possum.’

He doesn’t look like someone to fuck around with either. Reminds me of Tom Hardy. Read this background story on him. Also he’s on Spotify.
